The Greenhouse Kitchen at Blackdown

Welcome to The Greenhouse Kitchen, part of a destination store that sits to the north of the Blackdown Hills in southern Somerset. Situated in Wellington and a short distance from Taunton.

Breakfast dishes include traditional cooked Breakfasts to lighter bites such as Eggs Benedict or our speciality Truffled eggs.

Our lunch menu features both classic dishes with added flare and style as well as dishes for those that wish to try something new. Come and sample the Gluten Free Fish and Chips, Signature burger or Pulled ham hock and buttery new potato salad.

Children are more than welcome and have a separate menu.

Butternut squash risotto with coconut cream, mixed seeds and crispy carrot skins, pea and sundried tomato risotto with crispy kale and watercress oil, are just a few of the risotto we offer from our exclusive risotto bar.

Truly matching our restaurant’s ethos from the earth to your plate, our deli really stands out featuring seasonal salads that are not only perfect by themselves, but go perfectly with our homemade quiches, sausage rolls, parmesan and herb-crusted chicken, Bombay Aloo scotch egg. We also have a great selection of Baked Potatoes, Toasted Ciabattas, Sandwiches and Homemade Soup.

Alcoholic drinks include London Pride Ale, Peroni, Roquette Cider and a delicious range of wines and prosecco.

Finish your meal with a selection of amazing patisseries and sweet treats made in house by our talented team of Pastry Chefs. Our pâtisserie range is indeed a little celebration and is intended to delight and tantalise your palette.

Afternoon Tea

We can offer a traditional full afternoon tea served with a freshly baked scone, Cornish clotted cream, strawberry preserve, a selection of finger sandwiches and a mouth-watering range of exquisite pastries and cakes.
