Organic September is here - a month we celebrate in conjunction with our charity partners at the Soil Association, raising awareness of the benefits of organic gardening.
Blue Diamond continues to be proud partners of the Soil Association - a UK charity working to transform the way we eat, farm, and care for our natural world.
With Summer in full swing and hosepipe bans being enforced across the UK, now is a great time to implement water conservation techniques in your garden.
There are plenty of ways to reduce water usage, but for the nature-friendly gardeners amongst you, the Soil Association recommends using mulch to retain soil moisture, regulate temperature and reduce evaporation.
Woodchip mulch is fantastic for not only conserving water, but also inhibiting weed growth, acting as a natural fertiliser and naturally defending your plants against pests and diseases.
