Real Cut Christmas trees

Remove netting and keep the tree outside until required indoors.

Saw 2-3 cm off the base of the trunk and ideally insert the tree into a water holding stand.

A Christmas tree is like a cut flower, it needs water to stay fresh. By sawing a thin slice off the base of the trunk, the tree’s ability to absorb water is significantly increased thus enabling it to stay fresh and looking beautiful for longer.

Bring the tree inside and position in a cool, dry place away from direct heat. Avoiding direct heat will help keeping the tree fresh and enable it to last until after Christmas.

A tree stand with a water holding reservoir that can be topped up as the tree drinks, is perfect for keeping your tree hydrated and looking its best. Click here to see our great selection of practical and stylish tree stands all with water holding reservoirs
