Introducing Calciworms to Blue Diamond

Exclusive to Blue Diamond, a new product to the UK market, we are the first major stockist of Calciworms.

Calciworms are very similar to dried mealworms but have a higher nutritional value.  A year round feed for your garden birds they are particularly recommended during the colder months and through the breeding season. 

Calciworms are high in protein and fat and are an excellent source of calcium all enhancing your garden birds’ health.  Wild Birds need calcium in their diets to improve bone & feather strength, assist with increasing the number of eggs laid and improving eggshell strength that aids developing chicks.  Calciworms are naturally very high in calcium levels all adding garden bird wellbeing. 

Calciworms can be fed from the ground, bird feeders or tables.

This highly versatile and nutritious bird food can be fed straight or added to your garden bird’s preferred Blue Diamond seed blends.

Calciworms will be loved by a broad range of garden birds including Robins, the Tit family, House Sparrows and many more.  With the high calcium content, Calciworms are also great as a hedgehog food.
