Coton Orchard Garden Centre

Coton Orchard was planted in 1922. Like many orchards in the region it was established for the production of apples for the wholesale trade, with the bulk of its produce being marketed through London. Since fruit started to be imported from abroad, Coton Orchard is probably one of the last remaining orchards in Cambridgeshire and perhaps the most picturesque. A haven for wildlife and a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of Cambridge city centre, Coton Orchard is a patchwork of apple and plum trees, strawberry fields, green pastures and grape vines.

Our Farm Shop is brimming with produce from a wide range of locally sourced goods. We have a wide selection of fresh fruit and vegetables along with a mouth-watering array of gourmet products, homemade baked goods, delicious confectionery and preserves and a wide choice of dry goods, milk and other sundry items for your convenience.

When your shopping is complete, we invite you to indulge in a freshly brewed cup of coffee and piece of cake at our Coton Orchard Café. They have an exciting and varied menu which ensures that there is something to suit all tastes!

At Coton Orchard you will also find Maidenhead Aquatics. They have a wide and varied selection of many tropical species including those from the African Rift Valley. They specialise in planted aquariums with dedicated tanks for many Discus species. They also have over 35 marine aquariums housing an impressive selection of reef friendly fish.
