Our work with charities...
12th March 2021Dianne Oxberry was a much loved TV presenter who sadly died from Ovarian Cancer in January 2019. Subsequently, The Dianne Oxberry Trust was set up in order to raise awareness of this condition and to raise funds.
In addition, the Blue Diamond Group launched The Florida Sunset rose, named by Dianne's Husband in memory of Dianne who loved to holiday in Florida.
The colours of this rose are reminiscent of the sunsets enjoyed by Dianne and her family.
£1 from each Florida Sunset rose sold through Blue Diamond Garden Centres and Fryer's Roses online is donated by Blue Diamond to the Dianne Oxberry Trust.
You can place an order through our dedicated rose website at Fryer's Roses.

The Blue Diamond Group is proud to support a number of charities, specifically through the sales of our charity roses. The charities listed below all have a rose named for them (organised and launched by Blue Diamond), and thereafter are sold throughout our 37 garden centres. £1 from each charity rose sold is donated to the respective charity linked to that rose.
Green fingers
Tree Aid
Helen's Trust
Dianne Oxberry Trust
The Groves Foundation
Royal National Institute for the Blind
Alder Hey Children's Charity

We are also partnering with the Alzheimer's Charity to launch a charity rose at this year's RHS Hampton Court Flower Show on behalf of the charity.
We are also exploring other ways we can support this charity through linked sales through our centres.
