And the Award Goes To… Redfields Garden Centre!

Redfields Home of Garden & Living has won the Best Business Development Award for its extensive refurbishment at this years prestigious Garden Retail and Garden Industry Awards held on Thursday, 4th February.
Redfields, which is part of the Blue Diamond Group, is now widely regarded as one of the best garden centres in the country offering a unique destination for customers and delivers an idyllic intimate shopping experience.
Redfields' refurbishment challenged convention and was completed in 2014. The centre was designed to provide its customers with a warm, homely and aspirational environment, which also caters to the needs of its customers.
With the refurbishment came a diverse range of products from boutique, indulgent statement pieces for the home along with the more familiar brands at competitive prices. The centre also prides itself on sourcing locally produced and grown plants and local food produce.
Keeping true to Blue Diamond Group's horticultural roots, the refurbishment ensured that plants remained at the heart of the centre with inspirational displays and wide range of gardening essentials and accessories to enhance the home.
The centre's main restaurant, Café Theatre, launched with groundbreaking success as the UK's first open theatre kitchen in a garden centre, where food is prepared fresh and in full view along with a dedicated patisserie in which all cakes are baked daily in-house.
Following the success of Café Theatre, Redfields' second restaurant, Treetops Café, was launched as part of the second phase of the refurbishment. Treetops has introduced a perfect environment for mothers with preschool children. With a relaxed atmosphere and charming childrens gardening themed play area, Treetops Café continues to provide a delightful space to unwind with a view of the centre from above on the mezzanine.
