Acquisition Of Coton Orchard Garden Centre

The Board is pleased to announce the acquisition of Coton Orchard Garden Centre, which completed on 5th December 2016. The centre is located just outside the fast-growing city of Cambridge next to the M11 in an attractive rural area surrounded by orchards. There is a large AB demographic within 30 minutes of Cambridge and no garden centre currently targeting it. The current centre has a turnover of £1.2m, but there are seven concessions on the site generating an annual rental income of £0.15m. Following the redevelopment of the site and the restructuring of the concessions, we believe the site has the potential to exceed £4m turnover. Coton Orchard is a leasehold purchase and the lease is for 30 years.
