Our Exhibit

This time we are exhibiting in the Grand Pavilion (GPB 032), working with Leaf Creative to design an immersive, walk through experience, which will serve to showcase a ‘treasure trove’ of never-before-seen plants, many of which are exclusive to Blue Diamond Garden Centres and which will be launched at the show.

New plants and plant launches for 2025
  • One such plant is the Hydrangea, Groundbreaker® Blush™ - the world’s first, true groundcover Hydrangea.
  • Blue Diamond Garden Centres will also launch four new and exclusive roses including a rose on behalf of best-selling author Joanne Harris, which links to Joanne’s new book, a prequel to her novel and Oscar nominated film, Chocolat.
  • We will also launch a new and exclusive rose on behalf of Muscular Dystrophy UK and a rose named by Blue Diamond competition winners!
  • Other never-before-seen plants featured in our exhibit will include; Hydrangea Fairytrail® White and Green, Fuchsia Dancers Series, Sundaville® Verona Red, Sundaville® Double Blush Pink and Geum FireStarter and many more!

RHS Plant of the Year Award 2025

In addition to our new plant launches, Blue Diamond Garden Centres are delighted to have two of our plant entries shortlisted in the RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year 2025 award.

This annual award celebrates outstanding plants with a new or improved feature, setting them apart from those already on the market. Entries are carefully considered by a short-listing panel of RHS and industry experts who whittle down the number of contenders to no more than 20. These shortlisted plants then go on to be displayed at the show where, on Press Day, members of RHS Expert groups view them and elect a winner.

Our two shortlisted plants are Hydrangea Fairytrail® White & Fuchsia MAMBO.

The judges’ decision is based on three criteria: novelty and innovation, garden performance, and likely appeal for UK gardeners. The final vote is informed by the entry information submitted ahead of the Show, and the ‘wow’ factor of the plants on display.

The winning plants will be announced on Tuesday 20 May.

This year, we are working alongside award-winning garden designer, Peter Dowle from Leaf Creative, a garden design and retail centre, formed in 2018 by Chelsea Gold medallist Peter Dowle. This is where plants rule supreme together with its Fernery restaurant, a magical dining experience set amidst tropical plants.

Leaf Creative Gardens operates from the same site, designing gardens for construction throughout the Cotswolds and South west.

Crane Garden Buildings

We are also working alongside Crane Garden Buildings who have supplied the greenhouse in our exhibit.

Crane Garden Buildings create luxury, high-quality timber garden buildings that are handcrafted in their Norfolk workshop, drawing on over 50 years of expertise as a proud, family-run business. With each style having a range of customisable options, Crane buildings are designed to enhance any home and garden, offering modern garden offices and studios, or traditional garden rooms, sheds, summerhouses, and greenhouses.
